About Me

I have 25+ years' experience working within HR and I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).  

My mission is to get employers and employees to remember the 'Human' part of Human Resources.  Even the worst situations can be resolved with empathy and effective communication.

 I understand that many small businesses and start-ups can't afford the luxury of employing a full-time, permanent HR department. This can lead to decisions being made about employee issues without a full understanding of legal or best practice processes.  

I help businesses with <20 employees with minor, every-day problems, to more complex issues.  I can offer advice, guidance and support to ensure you find the best resolution for all parties. I know that effective and transparent relationships with your greatest assets, your employees, is one of the most important foundation stones for a successful business.

I have a large range of clients, from pub & restaurant landlords to coffee shop owners, from architects to interior designers, from car maintenance services to furniture manufacturers, all of them small business owners, the backbone of the UK economy!
